NOTICE OF RECALL ELECTION TUESDAY, November 14th, 2023

Notice is hereby given to the qualified electors of the County of Dundy, Nebraska, that a special election has been called for and will be held on Tuesday November 14th, 2023, on the matter of Recall of Sheriff Clinton J. Smith.

By Mail Election
This election will be an election by mail. Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters of Dundy County, Nebraska between October 23rd, 2023 and November 4th, 2023.

Voter Registration Deadlines
October 27th, 2023 – last day to register to vote online, through mail, agency, or via delivered registration.
November 3rd, 2023 – Last day to register to vote in person (6:00 P.M. MST)

On November 1st, 2023, A sample ballot shall be published, as well as posted on dundycounty.nebraska.gov, and at the Dundy County Clerk’s Office containing the language of the ballot question to appear on the ballot.

All ballots must be returned to the Dundy County Clerk’s Office by November 14th, 2023 by 5:00 P.M. to be counted. For questions, contact the Dundy County Clerk’s Office at (308) 423-2058.
